Our Little Boy Blue

Furry's littermate, FC Entwood Big City Blues MC F.Ch., actually made higher national AKC Lure Coursing in 2001 than his sister.

He was ranked as #2 Borzoi in AKC Lure Coursing for 2001 and only dropped to #4 in 2002 when his sister Furry was #2 Borzoi in AKC Lure Coursing. We began showing him and he was well on his way to his conformation championship when we were made an offer for him by a couple in Southern California. As we had a "population" problem at Entwood as far as intact males were concerned, we decided to allow Blue to go live in the lap of luxury on the Left Coast, where he joins a previous kennelmate, Sammo (q.v.)

And you wondered what those stop pads were for? Take a look at Blue's right pastern.... the stop pad is on the ground and we have other Steve Surfman shots of other Borzois that show all-out running.

Blue was and still is a perfect gentledog, friendly to all those who are friendly to him and aloof to those who deserve aloofness. No whimp, he simply played the game and left agression to others.
