The "Fire" Litter
The seven puppies from the breeding of Entwood Cherry Tart (just "Tart") and Roy Silguero's DC Gladkii Veter Lightning Bolt SC were whelped on 12/15/02. They are all either clear reds like mammadog or red with black guard hairs like grandma "Arty". They are in their seemingl;y permanent "Terrible Twos" as this is being written, and are being introduced to the show ring where they show that they are "wildfires" when it comes to being calm in the ring. The "fire" theme resulted in naming the four boys with names starting with "Fire" (Firedrake, Fireman, Fireworks & Firebrand) and the girls with names ending in "fire"(Bonfire, Heart's Afire and Firebell). O.K., that last one doesn't quite fit, but his humans just had to give her "Belle" as a call name, so...
Firedrake is approaching his "CH" . His nickname is "Drake" or "GP" ("Jeep") for giant puppy, "Bonnie" is "Bon-bon" 'cause she's so sweet.
